Danger! You have far greater potential than you realize.

Many athletes reach their limits too quickly: They get tired before they get there were able to provide the necessary training stimulus. This is especially the case with intensive training and the training becomes ineffective.

This is exactly where creatine helps. Many athletes consume red meat, fish or eggs to increase their strength (creatine levels). Now you can easily buy the active ingredients from these foods and consume them directly after training.

What is creatine and how does it affect the body:

Creatine or in technical terms α-methylguanidinoacetic acid is a substance produced naturally in the body from the amino acids glycine, arginine and methionine in the pancreas, liver and kidneys. The body manages to produce between 2 and 3 grams daily. It can be taken exogenously as a supplement or through your diet (red meat, eggs, fish).

By increasing the strength attributed to creatine, it ensures that the muscles can absorb more water. This makes the muscle appear firmer in the long term. Studies have also shown that this effect even promotes muscle growth.

It is important to note that the hydration of the cells only takes place in the muscles. Anyone who claims that this causes water retention under the skin simply has too high a body fat percentage, which is simply pushed further out by the bulging muscles.

Creatine is an essential supplement, especially for vegetarian and vegan athletes. Since, as mentioned above, it can only be absorbed through red meat, fish and eggs, vegetarians and vegans consume an average of 1.3 grams less than omnivores. (In comparison: omnivores consume 1.34 grams of creatine through their diet.) Interestingly, memory performance was significantly improved in vegetarians and vegans by taking creatine. The vegetarian test subjects were also able to gain muscle and were able to build around half a kilo more muscle within 8 weeks on average than omnivores who supplemented creatine. (They gained an average of 1.9 kg of muscle mass).
